Sam's Pre-Draft WR Rankings

1. Antonio Brown - After leading all WRs in receptions and receiving yards, Brown has cemented himself as the #1 WR in fantasy. With Bell out for the first 3 games, look for Brown to be as consistent as last year with Big Ben throwing him the ball. I'd feel best taking him late in the first round.

2. Demaryius Thomas - While Peyton's arm dwindled down the stretch, Thomas was still locked as a top WR every week. expect more of the same from the 27 year old who led the league in end zone targets last year, even though Kubiak plans on implementing a more balanced offense.

3. Odell Beckham - The face of the 2014 rookie WR class, OBJ caught 91 passes for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns in only 12 games! One can only imagine what he will be able to do in a full 16 game season. The only slight downside, and I do mean slight, is the return of Victor Cruz and the addition of Shane Vereen, both of whom are likely to see their fair share of targets.

4. Dez Bryant - Dez is quite honestly a touchdown scoring machine. He led all WR in touchdowns last year and only two other WR have put up more TD's in their first 5 years, Jerry Rice and Randy Moss. While Dez is primed for another great season, his contract dispute with the Cowboys is concerning, especially since he has threatened to skip training camp and even the start of the season.

5. Jordy Nelson - When the reigning MVP is throwing you the football, good things are bound to happen. Nelson had a career season last year and there is no reason to expect him to have a bad year unless injuries slow him down. Though he'll lose targets to Cobb, that's nothing to be worried about in a pass first offense.

6. Julio Jones - On the surface it seems as though Jones had a down season last year, but he was able to finish top 5 in receptions and targets. The only downside last year was the lack of touchdowns but that could easily be chalked up to flukes, Julio Jones is still a top 10 WR and will be drafted as such

7. Calvin Johnson - If you're getting Megatron at the middle or near the end of the 2nd round, you should be excited about your receiver core going forward because that's a steal. Sure he hasn't been the best WR in fantasy for a couple years but as long as Stafford keeps lobbing the ball up to him and he can stay healthy, there should be nothing to worry about.

8. Randall Cobb - Green Bay's #2 WR could easily be a #1 WR on any other team but that distinction is held by Nelson. Cobb scored a lot of touchdowns last year and should get close to double digit TD's again. The Aaron Rodgers effect comes back into play again so there even less to have to be concerned about week to week.

9. A.J. Green - 2014 was a down year for Green but for him that still includes gaining a thousand yards and scoring 6 touchdowns. He's entering his prime years now so expect a bounce back season from him, as long as he can stay healthy, even though Dalton is still throwing him the ball.

10. Alshon Jeffery - The bears were an absolute disaster last season yet Jeffery was not the problem and finished the 2014 season strongly. Now that Brandon Marshall is in New York expect even bigger things from the 4th year pro. Having rookie Kevin White on the other side taking pressure off him helps as well.

11. T.Y. Hilton - Hilton is Andrew Luck's favorite target and that is a scary thing for defenses. Despite his size he catches the ball a lot and is as quick as any CB. The touchdowns don't come often as one might hope but in a pass heavy offense lead by the #1 QB in fantasy you could do a lot worse as your #1 receiver

12. Mike Evans - Last years rookie WR class was talented, but OBJ gets all the praise when it was Evans who really launched the 2014 class to historical heights. That's not even mentioning the carousel of crappy QB's that Tampa Bay had and he still posted a 1,051 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns. This year he has the #1 draft pick potentially throwing him the ball so the sky's the limit in his sophomore season.
