J Hews Pre-Season QB Rankings

TOP 10

1. Andrew Luck- Passion, Strength, Intelligence.... No but seriously last season's #2 quarterback is locked and loaded with even more weapons and experience. He also plays more than half his games inside leading to the #1 ranking.

2. Aaron Rodgers- As consistent a fantasy quarterback there is. Same weapons as last season however Eddy Lacy is a beast. He should get more carries than last season leading to a possible drop in Rodgers production but still a top 2 option regardless.

3. Russell Wilson- Last season's 3rd most productive fantasy QB. With the addition of Jimmy Graham look for him to have an even more productive season. He can do it with his arm and legs but with Beast Mode still in his back field he not quite ready to jump into the top 2 spots.

4. Cam Newton- As always with a mobile QB it comes down to health. I'm banking on Newton staying healthy and having a career year for himself leading to the # 4 spot.

5. Peyton Manning- Is age finally catching up to Peyton? Yes, but still a top 5 QB. Enough weapons in Denver for Peyton to once again have himself a very productive fantasy season.

6. Drew Brees- No Graham but Brees is talented enough to overcome it. Graham was injured a decent amount last year and Brees still produced in fantasy. If the Saints defense is anything like last year expect Brees and the offense to be trailing a lot.

7. Matt Ryan- Ryan and Falcons are much better than a 6-10 team. I expect a bounce back year for Matty Ice. A very good option at QB for your fantasy.

8. Ben Roethlisberger- Last years #5 QB who I think may have a little down year but once again surrounded by weapons so anything is possible. With Le'veon Bell suspended for the first three games a lot of weight is on Big Ben's shoulders to start the year.

9. Tom Brady- Expecting Brady to sit out at least two games if not the full 4 he is suspended for. When he does play expect him to be angry and motivated and be worthy of a Top 10 spot.

10. Phillip Rivers- Rivers still has his favorite weapon in Antonio Gates along with other talented receivers. Look for a very similar if not more productive season from him this season.
